Brenda Waldekker Art & Design
Hi! I’m Brenda.
I’m an independent artist and designer creating playful surface patterns, illustrations and visual artwork inspired by nature, everyday life and the little details that make us smile.
My main focus is surface pattern design, with additional creative services in WordPress web Design and pet illustration.
Surface Pattern Design
Original patterns and illustrated collections created for products, brands and licensing.
I am available for commissions, custom art work, and licensing. If you’re interested in collaborating with me, please don’t hesitate to contact me with the details of your project.
Together, we can unleash our artistic potential and create something truly extraordinary!
What I create
Artwork for products, brands & licensing
Whether you’re looking for a complete pattern collection, coordinating prints or distinctive illustration, I create original artwork that can be adapted for a wide range of applications.
Thoughtful design, a personal approach.
Why work with me?
Original artwork
Everything starts with my own illustrations, ideas and creative process.
Collaborative approach
I listen carefully and work with you to create something that feels right for your brand.
A curious eye
My background and interests inspire work that’s thoughtful, distinctive and full of character.
Independent & personal
You work directly with the person creating your artwork, with a flexible and personal approach.
Behind the designs
I’m a freelance artist and designer with a love of pattern, illustration, colour and the tiny details that make a design feel alive.
I work independently from wherever life happens to take me, creating artwork for products, brands and people who appreciate something a little different.
Need a website too?
I bring 20+ years of WordPress experience to creating straightforward, beautiful websites for small businesses and creatives. My primary focus is art and design, but if you’re looking for someone who understands both design and WordPress, I’d love to hear from you.
The animals we love deserve good portraits.
I create personalised illustrated digital pet portraits celebrating the personalities of the cats, dogs and other beloved animals who become part of our families.
Have a project in mind?
Whether you’re looking for original artwork, a pattern collection, a pet portrait or a beautifully designed WordPress website, I’d love to hear what you’re working on.
